Terms and conditions

Updated 4 September 2026

These terms are the contract for the tapp app — the briefing we send you and the newsfeed of things you asked to follow. By joining the waitlist, signing up, or using the app, you agree to them.

01

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and Tapp Technologies Ltd (company number 14628084). Our registered office is The Willows, Castlelevingon, Yarm, TS15 9PB, United Kingdom.

The tapp app is for people in the United Kingdom who are 18 or over. If you are under 18, you must not use it.

Questions about these terms go to jack@snapps.co.uk. How we use personal information is in the Privacy policy.

02

The service

The tapp app is free. We send a personalised briefing and keep a newsfeed of posts that match what you asked to follow. You can write back to change those preferences.

The briefing is assembled by software, including language models, from sources on the web and from what you told us. It can be incomplete or wrong. It is not professional advice — including legal, financial, medical, or any other advice you should take from a qualified person.

We may skip a day when nothing qualifies. We may change, pause, or stop parts of the app.

03

Your account

You must give us a real name, email address, and mobile number, and keep them accurate. Do not open an account for someone else or invent details.

Newsfeed and sign-in links are for you alone. Do not share them.

To leave the app, email jack@snapps.co.uk. That is not available from inside the app yet.

04

Acceptable use

Use the app only for yourself, in the way we provide it. Do not scrape, harvest, or resell the feed, the briefing, or other people’s data.

Do not try to break the service, share login or newsfeed links, or trick, prompt-inject, or otherwise interfere with the systems that write the briefing.

Do not use the app if you are under 18. We may close an account that breaks these rules.

05

Your content and ours

We own the app, the briefings, and the newsfeed posts we produce. You own the preferences and replies you send us.

You give us a licence to use those preferences and replies to run and improve the service. You must not copy or republish our briefings or posts except for your own personal use.

06

Referrals

We may give you a referral code. Any reward attached to it can change or end. A code is not a promise of payment or credit.

07

Ending the service

You may leave at any time by emailing jack@snapps.co.uk.

We may close or pause your account at any time, including if you break these terms, if we suspect abuse, or if we stop the product. If we close the product we will say so on the site.

08

Our liability

The app is free and provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that comes from relying on a briefing, from a skipped day, from downtime, or from something a third-party service does.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any right you have as a UK consumer that cannot be limited.

09

Changes and law

We may change these terms by updating this page. The date under the title will change. Your continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer-court rights you have.
